PhD Place Research

Another thing that I researched alongside writing my proposal, was looking at different places where I could study for my PhD. I spoke to some people I know who already have one to see where they went and how they found it, as well as looking at places that have animation courses. Once I found some, I started to look at the different supervisors that are available. Below are a few places I have looked at:

I have missed a lot of the deadlines for applying for places as these were in January. But I decided that I want to have a year out of education anyway. This means that I can take the time to research more in-depth about places to study and where is right for me. For the year gap, I debated going to work full-time, but after looking I have decided to keep my Tuesdays off and use these days to continue to upskill and work on areas for my project. Such as learning the different software, making industry connections, researching the context as well as look at and visit PhD places.
